Server Additions - Don't Read me

If you would like a map to be added to the server or a specific plugin you think would make a great addition please use this forum section to do so.

Please use this format:

What type you request and what file.

In the topic please specify a working link and download url and if possible some information on why you want it to be added and information about the file.

Example:

Map Request - zm_madness_final ( topic name )

I would like to have zm_madness added to the server cause its good fun map to play on and be able to TK your friends on.

Madness is a trap based map blablablabla

Custom content

we need specific (or spesific whatevaah!) folder for custom skins and maps and such what people has made. Maybe alter folder to show case.

Could help to have a votekick/voteban/votemute command. Could be abused but a trial run to see how it works could be nice.

we are absolutly not adding voting. we cant entrust the hordes of TTT monkey's (randomers) with such powers. all my experience atleast has been that people want to voteban me when i kill them to much. or votekick me when me score is too high. its just that the people cant handle this power

that's a good point, but could we atleast try a less powerful vote like votemute or something that mutes someone for 2 minutes, because there is alot of mic spam around atm.

I do the player list menu is a godsend, I was just thinking for the general use of the server users.

I can see people votemuting someone for disagreeing with their opinion or because they sound childish.
From my general experience, when everyone can make a vote. Things tend to get messy.

not sure if they is a way to do that but if there was a way you could try doing steam ID permitted only people could start a vote to mute. I see that being more effort than its worth though tbh lol

I for one, would love to see a rating system for maps. I know of one plugin that does this: http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=607727

Not sure if it still works (It's a couple years old!) and if it works with the rtv system and stuff, but it would be nice to see a rating on the maps when you vote, to help promote the good, lesser played maps, and have the overplayed meh maps played less.

Its funny that you mention it, I can't get sourcemod to detect if you're dead on garrysmod..
Suppose I could setup a timer or something along those lines. I'll look at it more soon.

Also that system in question is only used for ranking and stats.
