Upcoming adjustments to Air vs Ground balance

Flak:

A30 Walker:

Rocket Pods:
- Decrease to the inner explosion radius: 3m to 1.5m. This is the center of the rocket explosion where the maximum damage occurs, so this will not affect direct hits. Effectively this makes the damage falloff at the center of the rocket pod explosion start closer to the center.

Flak Armor:
- Increase maximum explosion resistance for certed Flak armor from 25% to 50%. This makes Flak armor a more viable choice over Nanoweave for soldiers being attacked with explosives.

Decimator:
- New Heavy Assault common pool rocket launcher. High-damage anti-vehicle weapon, has a slow projectile speed and no lock on, but does massive damage to vehicles and other armored targets.

Goddammit... AA Launchers were already OP. This is bullshit.

you cant use them as "dumbfire" rockets anymore after patch. same goes for the AV one.

Thats nice and everything but I meant OP as in using them what they were intended for. Against air. 1 rocket takes away half my health in a mosquito. And you can't outrun them or dodge them like you can in bf3.

You can't outrun them. I empty extended boosters on them and they still catch up. They also followed me all the way to warpgate from middle of the map.

fly low to the ground .. duhh or make a sudden 180 backflip whatever manouvre

I tried all that just like I did in BF3. None of it worked. BTW these things can kill you when inside the warp gate. I confirmed it.

Don't you got flares? Afaik the AA weapons cost a lot of certs and the counter is cheaper.

do you also make tight turns when flying low ?? like head to some obstacle and make a tight turn (press left or right combined with space, plane almost verticle and move you mouse up (down if inverted))?

also, rockets explode on the shield of the warpgate nothing can get inside of the warpgate shield. when your plane thingy on the side turns red it will slowly go down till theres no more hp.

Flares every 40 or 45 seconds wont help with A2A missles

I do. But they follow me indefinitely. Seen it on other people as well. They make the craziest turns and the missile sometimes makes a 90 degree angle and keeps following. It's like a hacking bot. Bullshit.
