This map is what has been taking a lot of my time the last few days. It's inspired by Notary's map ttt_thething - a great map if you ask me. It's not at all as good as other maps that are around, but for a first release - and my first map in a year - it's pretty good!

Background story:
The traitors barely got away from the innocent terrorists in ttt_thething, but they were soon forced to land in another laboratory area nearby due to being low on supplies. They thought they were safe there for the moment... What they soon will discover is that the research lab has been evacuated due to a parasite they had dug up from an ice block. The parasite has some alerting features... it makes the carrier traitorous!

The previous laboratory workers found out how to build a traitor tester by using four magic cubes which they also had dug out. The cubes were in an ice block and had to be melted out, so they placed the block of ice in their water tower. They were to late, though, and never finished placing the cubes in the tester - which means the cubes are still in the water tower, free for the traitors to use.

Edit: RC2 contains 3D skybox(ignore the screenshots, they are from the first release).

It looks okay, but you probably want to add 3dskybox (http://http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/3d_skybox) so it doesn't feel like the map is just floating in air. It also makes your map look better.

Yeah I know, but since I had problems with it I figured I could leave it out for the first release. It just wouldn't work, but I know what the problem was now, so I will probably release a new version soon.

Looks a bit small, but will add to the server to see how it plays.

I went right ahead and released RC2 with 3D skybox and some increased fog(ignore the screenshots, they are from the first release).

You're right, it was too small. I may update it in the future but I'd rather move on to other projects for now.

I don't wanna sound like a dick now but...

You should probably scrap this project.

Only reason why this project was doomed was the very trap of testing and map versions.

There is two proper way to do maps, relase maps and test them.

Late's way and basic map way: V1 ---> v2 ---> V3 (So on) then final and complete version (No any version number after name)

Or most common way.

Alpha 1 2 3 and so on.
Then Beta 1 2 3 and so on.
Then RC 1 2 3 and so on
Then final.

With both ways you are able to change layout enough, test map, polish it and finish it.
This way really pays off in multiplayer and as best example of doing so is many TF2 maps.

I'm new to TTT mapping so in many ways this was an experiment for me, and I don't think I'll ever work more on this map. I do appreciate your feedback on it though.
