I had a discussion about this with Ned a while ago as he said and let me try to explain it easily
I think around 200+ people use the iced tag now , i have no problem with that , i wear it with pride .
But some people take the name and put it to shame and we cannot allow that .
You can think that the logic thing to do would be to not allow people to wear the tag , but then people who also use it and do nothing wrong get screwed over .
Iced is very popular and we like to keep it that .
My idea was two tags , iced for the regular people , no limitation to this you can wear it if you joined the ice cave 5 seconds ago ,
but there would be a second tag which i thought about : LN² , which is actually liquid nitrogen and can make stuff frozen in no time .
This tag will be for the people who have earned it : Being active , being a respected member , for the core of the ice cave , the people that make it tick .
The Ice Cave keeps on existing , the iced tag keeps on existing and the people who wear it keep on wearing it . The only thing that comes extra is ( hopefully ) ¨LN² .

Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare :
A milestone in the call of duty games and a milestone for online and competitive gaming. I myself have played countless hours of modern warfare , i loved it and now , there is going to be a sequel.
Now you're thinking , but Metabie , everybody knows that Modern Warfare 2 is coming out , unless you lived in a cave and then i say "Hello , the world has changed my friend".
Its true , almost everybody knows that it is coming out , but not everybody has played the first one , so why would they buy/play the second one. Well , let me tell you.
First of all a bit of informacion for all you cavemen out there , yes we know who you are!

It's story takes place yesterday tomorrow or today with which i mean , the present.
Some regime takes over in a middle eastern country ( Uhuh , real actual ) and somewhere near Russia a lot of nuclear warheads have been stolen . You play as an American soldier , who is sent to the middle east of course and a SAS soldier named soap.
The singleplayer is linear but that doesn't make it less fun.
But the multiplayer , that was a trap that once you got in it you couldn't escape unless your name was MacGyver

Theres been a lot of discussion if its the call of duty 6 or 5 or If its just Modern Warfare 2 , i personally don't give a shit.
The singleplayer would continue where the singleplayer of the first one ended.
But the main reason why I and millions of other people are going to buy it , is the multiplayer.
Changes are going to be :
The online multiplayer mode of Modern Warfare 2 retains the same experience points and unlockable reward system of Call of Duty 4, but also introduces several new features. Aside from new weapons and equipment, 15 different kill streak rewards can be unlocked and selected by the player. Among these is the ability to receive a supply drop after four kills, a predator missile strike after 5 kills, and to call in a strike by an AC-130 gunship after achieving 11 enemy kills in a row. It is also now possible to upgrade perks to a "pro version".
It's also going to have some new game modes like this one called flag runner , which utterly blew my mind :

Originally, we planned to claim the outer space for ourselves. Unrestrained use of every resource and infinite room for all human beings. But then, things did not turn out the way they should have. Nowadays, it seems our planet is the one to be conquered. Earth is in a state of emergency. The human race has been shrunk to a few hundred thousand. Our world is nearly completely destroyed. The area of the Black Sectors is spreading. Nobody knows from where the Wraith came. We know only one thing: They are damned deadly and frigging furious. But today – on July 6th, 2023 – the day has come for mankind to strike back. The Ice Cave has always been strict , but the problem now is jsut that most of the current admins are bored with zm .
Ofcourse since we are admins we have our jobs and we can't just go out recruiting new blood.
I have no solution for this problem.

NedStar and me are hosting a NeoTokyo Tournament for all you NeoTokyo lovers out there.
Teams will be made out of three persons and please invite your friends into your team , this is not stricted to The Ice Cave members only.
Tournament Brackets will be made after the amount of teams are known.
So Hurry up , get your team together and win this Tournament. While making a team also be sure to pick yourself a nice team name that at the end of this tournament all will know THAT you showed them how its done.
Even if you don't got a team yet you are welcome to sign up and get teamed with others.
The Ice Cave Is Not Responsible For Any Raging , Failing and Weapon Malfunctions

Its to be 3 vs 3 at all time, if a player doesn't show up then that player risks being kicked out of the tournament. Players leaving during the tournament is highly looked down upon and unless the other team is fine with a rematch, the team that has a player leaving will forfeit out of the match and lose.
The team vs team fights are to be arranged by the team leaders themselves. I will be hosting a private server at all time so that you can do a match. Along with this I will also host another private server that you can use for friendly wars as well as practice and working on your team tactics. All of the tactics,friendly wars etc are to be arranged by the team leaders themselves and will not be done by us.
passwords for these servers will be polar.
All tournament servers will be using source TV.
The scoring works as following:
There will be a total of 11 rounds, either one map or two maps will be played. You get one point for killing the other team and two points for securing the ghost.
More info regarding the maps is to be announced.
For example:
If 10 rounds have been played. Team A has 6 points and team B has 5 points. Team B could win the match by successfully bringing back the ghost as that gives them two points. Bringing the score to a grand total of 6-7.
In case of a draw:
In case of a draw. Three more rounds will be played. If that once again ends in a draw then another three more rounds will be played. In addition to this, capturing the ghost still results in two points rather then one.
So if you would capture the ghost and win one more round by killing the other team, you would have won the match.
Further Info:
In addition we will also be running a sourcemod plugin that scales the XP. This basically gives a lower ranked player more xp when he kills a higher ranked player. This is to give a team some extra chances when they failed the first few rounds and the other team is now using better weapons.
Besides this we will also be running source tv.
