If you're swat 4 is constantly alt tabbing you out of the game or you simply want to adjust the resolution then do the following.

Go to D:\Program Files (x86)\Sierra\SWAT 4\ContentExpansion\System

Open Swat4X.ini

Adjust the following for resolution changes.

BestGuessDefaultResolutionX=1920
BestGuessDefaultResolutionY=1080
WindowedViewportX=1920
WindowedViewportY=1080
FullscreenViewportX=1920
FullscreenViewportY=1080

now right click swat4x.ini and make it "read only" This will give an error when the game shuts down but apparently it will reset the screen ratio if you don't make it read only.

Furthermore you may want to disable the intro vid as this was giving me weird alt tabbing issues with the following.

Right click Swat4X.exe and click "create shortcut" now open this shortcut and add -nointro to the first line.

""D:\Program Files (x86)\Sierra\SWAT 4\ContentExpansion\System\Swat4X.exe" -nointro -windowed" is what I use, windowed does not seem to work though.
